IP-DOS (tm) is a small program that runs "on top of" MS Windows. This program is running on the computer that served this web page to you. Most users do not need to install the IP-DOS (tm) program on their own computers. They just go to web pages to tell IP-DOS (tm) what they want it to do for them. The work is done by computers, including the computer that served this page to you, that cooperate over the Internet. With IP-DOS (tm), these computers are viewed as a single "global virtual computer" of practically infinite power. Your web page browser serves as your "operator's console" for this computer.
