An external association is, in U.S. law, an association that exists under the protective aegis of the U.S. Constitution yet operates outside of the jurisdiction of U.S. law. Wo'O Ideafarm, a citizen of the United States of America, asserts his right to operate an external association in cyberspace. Within this external association, humans can cooperate in complete and total freedom from coercive territorial government. For example, this external association will feature a perfect market where goods and services can be exchanged with no transactions costs, no taxes, and no regulation whatsoever by any territorial government.

This external association will not operate in a manner that interferes with the "internal affairs" of any territorial government. For example, it will not facilitate money laundering, tax evasion, or the organization of terrorist or other criminal activities. Nor will it adopt political platforms or enter into alliances with select political factions or parties within a territorial jurisdiction. But it will firmly, and will full effect, assert its sovereignty regarding its own internal affairs. In the absence of treaties of cooperation, it will neither impede nor assist any territorial government in the pursuit of that government's internal interests.
